MASON CITY – Two Mason City women who have been arrested recently for public intoxication are back behind bars this weekend for the same offense.
Jessica Lynn Kohler, age 40, and Lynda Lee Lindsay, 32, were arrested at separate locations Saturday.
According to reports, Kohler was arrested Saturday at 2:27 AM for public intoxication at a residence at the 1200 block of East State Street after Mason City police responded to a disturbance. She was taken to the Cerro Gorco County Jail and held on $2,000.00 bond.
Lindsay was arrested by Mason City police for aggravated public intoxication Friday at 7:43 PM after they were dispatched to the the 1200 block of Elm Drive for an intoxicated subject. She was taken to the Cerro Gordo COunty Jail and held on $5,000.00 cash bond.
Both women face a court date on September 13th at 8:30AM and are still locked up as of Sunday.
Kohler and Lindsay were picked up by Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s on July 20th as they drove around Plymouth, Iowa, allegedly intoxicated. In that incident, Kohler was charged with public intoxication, third or subsequent offense. Lindsay was charged with public intoxication (third offense), operating while under the influence, interference with official acts, failure to prove liability coverage, failure to provide valid driver’s license, and open container. Lindsay has been picked up at least three prior times for OWI but beat one of the charges. Related to that incident, Kohler was supposed to appear in court on August 26th but failed to appear. A warrant was issued for her arrest that day. Lindsay plead not guilty to third offense operating while intoxicated and faces an October 8th trial.

clearly these two should have learned to stay home and drink but im sure knowing how the mcpd works it seams there going out of there way to keep tabs on these two like i said b4 we know all about the mcpd and there ways none of which is a credit to any law agency
