Police seek wanted man early Sunday

MASON CITY – Police responded to a North End residence early Sunday in search of a wanted man.

At about 5:40 AM, Mason City Police were called to the 1200 block of N. Washington when a resident there reported that Frank Mosher, 33, who has a warrant out for his arrest, was at her home.

There were at least four MCPD squad cars surrounding the block, searching for Mosher.

Reports indicated that Mosher is known to assault people and carry weapons.

A woman reported that Mosher had “came after her”, but after after talking to witnesses, NIT was told that police said that the stories did not add up.

At this time, there is a warrant for Mosher’s arrest connected to a meth possession case and a driving while barred (habitual) case.
