FORT DODGE – Police in Fort Dodge responded to a local bar early Saturday morning and found a former Chicago man laying unconscious on the ground.
According to Fort Dodge police, on Saturday, April 4th, 2015, at approximately 1:54 AM, Fort Dodge Police officers responded to a call of a fight in the alley next to O’Goodies Bar, located at 16 North 7th Street.
Upon arrival, officers found a large crowd outside of the bar, as well as a male unresponsive on the ground. The male was identified as 26-year-old Flower McNeil of Fort Dodge, formerly of Chicago. Fort Dodge Fire Rescue and Unity Point Ambulance were called to the scene. McNeil was transported to Unity Point Emergency Room and was later transported by helicopter to Des Moines due to his injuries.
Multiple witnesses were present at the scene and were cooperative with officers. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
