MASON CITY – A Leland, Iowa convicted drug dealer has been sent to live in the Beje Clark halfway house in Mason City.
Elenita Gay Celindro, age 50 of Leland, was recently convicted in hancock county district court of C felony possession of a control substance with intent to deliver, stemming from an investigation by the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office beginning on April 26, 2013.
Celindro was sentenced to serve up to ten years in prison and pay a $1,350 fine, plus court costs and attorney fees. The court suspended her prison sentence and fine and placed Celindro on probation for three years to the Department of Correctional Services with placement at the Beje Clark residential correctional facility for 180 days. The court also ordered the Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT) to revoke Celindro’s driving privileges.
Oh great! we don’t have enough dealers here?
On a political note…Vote all the judges out
Right. MC population +1. Meanwhile, I know personally of several people picking up and leaving town, and these are good people, not drug dealers. Moving south to Ames and Des Moines. Gone for good. And this new drug dealer will be walking our streets (hopefully avoiding the deathtrap along Monroe Avenue) and cooking your food, most likely at KFC or the like. The good people leave and the bad pour in. That’s the cycle MC is in now.
What did Kevan Costner say, “you can’t make a dime in Leland, Iowa.” on a serious note, you have a chance to vote out or to keep some of our judges today.
She will be serving you food next week at your local fast food joint. That should make you feel real secure. What kind of punishment is this? They turn them loose on a work release and they can do whatever they want. I hope everyone voted to throw out all of the judges that do this crap.
BEE GEE CLARK is just a trade school for criminals to learn their trade better. What a fricken waste of government money. I’d really like to know the percentage of people who have been sent there to be rehabilitated. I bet its awful low.
