MASON CITY – There was more drama reported at the Mason City Wal-Mart – a seemingly daily occurrence – this time, an elderly man forgot to zip his pants and a woman screamed for help as police rushed to the scene.
According to Mason City police, on September 12 at 3:25 PM, a female customer at Walmart notified employees that a man in the store had just committed indecent exposure. Police were dispatched. The male remained in the store and did not take flight. Police spoke to the complainant, the male subject, and reviewed the video. The elderly male had just exited the restroom and apparently forgotten to zip his pants.
Without going into exact detail, police said “the female was sitting on the bench outside the restroom, noticed the male’s unzipped pants, etc. The female then started to yell for ‘help.’ At about the same, the male appears to realize his pants are unzipped and zips them.”
Police said the surveillance video suggests the unzipped pants was more likely forgetfulness than intentional. The male is elderly and has no history of doing anything like this.
There will be no charges and the incident has been closed, police said.
Some people are just born stupid.
That is ridiculous! The woman should have politely told the poor guy his fly was down!
This is kind of funny. “Help!!” For a zipper undone? I mean was it actually spilling out? Was he freeballing it? No underwear? NO Depends? Was he endowed beyond capacity?
This aint no different than all them fat chicks walking around Wal-Mart, wearing no bra and nippin out. That what I call indecent!

Wal-Mart is providing affordable merchandise for people who otherwise would not be able to afford the stuff they need and want. The nuts and others that go there is more of reflection of society as a whole not a reflection on Wal- Mart .
I have seen numerous people wait for their children or spouse/significant other on that bench outside the main restrooms up front. And, all of us have seen men with their zippers down in almost every possible venue: Work, school, church, leaving the house.. If he wasn’t a weeny wagger like the guys at the Y, he just forgot, innocent mistake. It happens all the time… God, this is just ridiculous. And in this case, elderly is a key word. Give it a rest …
WTF is this “city’s” problem… Only here can grown men escape BLATANT murder charges, kids be charged with a FELONY for taking bark off a tree, and now- the elderly have cops called on them for indecent exposure for forgetting to zip their britches..?

Well some people do sit outside a restroom if they are waiting for a spouse. Besides having your pants unzipped and hanging out it two different things. Was the lady over reacting or is details not mentioned?

Why would you sit on a bench outside a restroom ? I sometimes forget to zip, myself. That’s why I don’t use restrooms in public places. It must be an age thing.
