Mason City woman dead after single vehicle rollover

logo-iowa-state-patrolWORTH COUNTY – A Mason City woman is dead after a single-vehicle rollover in Worth county early Saturday morning.

According to a report, 26-year-old Erika Sue Schneckloth was westbound on highway 9 in Worth county at about 3:06 AM Saturday morning, June 28, 2014, when she failed to negotiate a curve at 360th Street. Schneckloth, who was wearing a seat belt, over-corrected, and the vehicle left the roadway to the right side and rolled multiple times.

Emergency responders came to the accident scene, and Schneckloth was transported to Mercy Hospital in Mason City. She was later pronounced dead.

The Iowa State Patrol was assisted at the accident scene by Fertile and Hanlontown emergency responders Forest City paramedics, Worth County Sheriffs and Cerro Gordo Sheriffs.

The accident remains under investigation.

Schneckloth listed on social media that she worked at Hawkeye Auto Body as a detailer, and graduated from North Central Junior – Senior High School in 2006.
