CDC Director says Trump administration didn’t ban words like “diversity,” “transgender,” and “fetus” from future budget documents

President Donald Trump’s administration
didn’t ban any words from being
used in future budget documents,
the CDC Director claims.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The nation’s top health agency – the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) was allegedly told by the Trump Administration that it was barred from using certain words in its budget requests for next year – but the agency’s director now disputes that claim.

The Washington Post first first broke the news that the words: “vulnerable,” “entitlement,” “diversity,” “transgender,” “fetus,” “evidence-based” and “science-based” were banned by Trump administration officials from budget request documents. The ban was allegedly laid out at a meeting last week.

After a leak of the banned words was made public in the Post and via other major media outlets, the matter was disputed by CDC Director Dr. Brenda Fitzgerald, who was appointed to the post in July by President Trump.

In a series of tweets, Dr. Fitzgerald said, “The assertion that HHS has ‘banned words’ is a complete mischaracterization of discussions regarding the budget formulation process. HHS will continue to use the best scientific evidence available to improve the health of all Americans. I want to assure you there are no banned words at CDC. We will continue to talk about all our important public health programs. You may be understandably concerned about recent media reports alleging that CDC is banned from using certain words in budget documents. I want to assure you that CDC remains committed to our public health mission as a science- and evidence-based institution. As part of our commitment to provide for the common defense of the country against health threats, science is and will remain the foundation of our work.”

Bodacious, if you are a teacher, I wouldn’t want you teach my kids. Your attitude scares me.

You needn’t worry. I valued the profession I chose because my job was to help young people learn. I am a professional so I avoided putting my values and beliefs on the kids I taught. I hoped to teach them to think for themselves and to back up their beliefs with data, facts and rational thought. I tried to teach them to listen to others by modeling that trait. I was a good teacher and your children would have learned from me.

Sorry but I cleared my cache on my computer and didn’t noticed my name changed back to Anonymous.

Even if original media reporting was accurate so what? The so-called banned words don’t belong in a budget anyhow. Those are politically charged words and would create useless controversy. For you leftists… note that “fetus” is also banned. It is a term most often used in anti-abortion literature.

“Fetus” is the scientific term for an unborn baby. It’s too bad your mother didn’t abort you. Or maybe she did and it didn’t take? Your brain seems half dead.

Are those all your posts on Stormfront there? CLASSY!

If you noticed, her message changed from the earliest post to the latest. The earliest (9:57) stated “..there are no banned words at CDC.” Then (12:00) “The CDC remains committed…as a science-and evidence-based institution.” Finally, at 12:18, “… assertion that HHS has ‘banned words’ is a complete mischaracterization of discussions regarding the budget formulation process.” Her tale goes from no banned words to mischaracterization. Hmmm.

No wonder our kids can’t get a job with a teacher like you fake teaching them.

Wrong. It was your kids who couldn’t find a job because they all got one of your brain cells. I taught kids how to think for themselves but it was impossible for children like yours because they didn’t have enough brains to start out with. That is genetics buddy.

My kids have done very well in spite of sub-standard teachers like you who are destroying our country. The day is coming soon.

If your kids have done well, it is in spite of your parenting.

The best parents in the world are parents like me that worked for a living and didn’t suck off the public like you did for doing a piss poor job. If you had been paid what you were worth you would have owed the taxpayers, a lot.

None of those things are in any way related to good parenting. You’re a dipshit.

You must’ve been smart to figure out how to get paid for what you did. Or maybe it was the system and you just fit in. By the way, when are you going to explain how you paid for your pension? Another LIE from a lib?

So, you put in 6% and we put in 9%. We got screwed for what you did. Give us back our 9% and pay your own way like the rest of us do.

As I have said before, I earned it. You, on the other hand, kissed management’s butt for years while you did their dirty work. They thought so much of you they didn’t give you a pension.

According to the cite you posted it appears YOU paid roughly 6% of your wages into IPERS. I believe the correct statement would be you
paid a SMALL PART of your own retirement. YOU are definitely a typical LIB.

I hate to tell you Dumb Ass, but I WAS the management you talk about. And without us you wouldn’t have had that cushy job you had where you could rip off the public.

It’s hilarious that you think teaching is a “cushy” job. Shows your level of ignorance. You are exhibit A of the dumbing down of America.

I didn’t have a “cushy” job and how were you responsible for my job?

Sounds like more fake news. When will the media do its job and get the facts straight before they jump to conclusions. No wonder people are turning to other forms to get their news. When I hear something new , I check the source. Depending on who the source is I will either discard it as fake or check various sources to get more info.

Just more lies by Democrats.
