Statement by Senator Joe Bolkcom of Iowa City (May 1, 2014) –
Iowa has taken a big first step toward safe, legal access to medical cannabis. Credit goes to the families who helped legislators understand the need for change.
I urge Governor Branstad to both sign this first step, and then encourage action to help other Iowans who would live better, longer lives if medical cannabis were legal in Iowa.
These Iowans suffer from diseases like cancer, multiple sclerosis, HIV/AIDS, spinal cord injuries, glaucoma, severe chronic pain and PTSD. These Iowans should have the same rights as the residents of 20 other st

about time. just skip the bull shit and go colorado style and legalize it all for medical use. theres no reason for people to be in pain and not be able to use something to help them just because some old guys in suits think they know whats best for all of us.

I did work at Winnebago in the early 80’s, I was working on the trams for universal studios and my job was to draw up all the electrical wiring and install it all according to the schematic. There was a guy there that had a degree in electrical engineering and I ended up beating him out for the job, calling me stupid huh.

Sorry to disappoint you #maybe, but you cannot read your way into this. The concepts can be passed into your mind via books, but the experience has to be your own. It’s not a conceptualization, although it does contain a perception. it’s a combinatory, physiochemical distillation. stopping digestive processes turns the minds away from hypothalumic functions and into parietal, temporal, orbitofrontal, insular cortex, occipital to experience clearer senses.

No Maybe, I merely took a moment to research the areas of the brain that are involved with the hunger drive and the 5 senses. And there’s no argument to lose on this. On a serious note. Have you listened to the musical group named ALL ABOUT EVE? They are listed under the Gothic genre. Granted Youtube recordings are never as good as listening to it on I tunes, but I just came into awareness of this group, and thought I’d share. Probably not for everyone, and depends on the mood you’re in, but I find them pleasant. 🙂

Vets with PTSD need to work on it, find a cure for it instead of something that just covers it up. I know that somethings can’t be cured but smoking dope to try to forget is counterproductive.
