MASON CITY – The public is invited to the Mason City library on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 10:00 am as author Jim Anastasi discusses his new book, Random Thoughts: When your Head is Full. This free event will be held in the Mason City Public Library classroom adjacent to the Commons area.
As a therapist, Jim Anastasi spoke regularly with people about their beliefs, thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. He began writing of his beliefs and thoughts that were commonly shared with his clients. As he continued he recorded personal observations, impressions of his life experiences, and questions of his creative curiosity. This book is a collection of those Random Thoughts.
He is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, a clinical member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, and past president of the Iowa Association for Marriage and Family Therapists.
