MASON CITY – An eldery woman lost control of her car Wednesday and struck a light pole, causing severe damage to her car.
According to police, at around 5:15 PM, Theresa Ann Gifford, age 77, of Mason City struck a light pole at the 600 block of 12th Street NE. Gifford was not injured or cited in the incident.
“There appear to have been some medical issues involved,” police said.
