PHILADELPHIA, May 13 (UPI) — Philadelphia abortion provider Dr. Kermit Gosnell was convicted Monday of first-degree murder in the deaths of three babies.

He was acquitted of one count of first-degree murder in a fourth case, WCAU-TV, Philadelphia, reported, but convicted of other charges, including infanticide, conspiracy and running a corrupt organization.

Prosecutors said the victims in the first-degree murder case were delivered alive in Gosnell’s clinic and then killed.

The jury also found Gosnell not guilty of third-degree murder, but guilty of involuntary manslaughter, in the 2009 death of Karamaya Mongar, 41, who died after an anesthesia overdose during an abortion procedure

Gosnell, 72, could face the death penalty when the jury returns next week to consider sentencing, MSNBC reported.

After a two-month trial and 10 days of deliberations, the jury passed a message early Monday to Common Pleas Judge Jeffrey Minehart, indicating it was deadlocked on two counts. Minehart reinstructed the jury that they must return to reach consensus on those counts, WCAU-TV reported.

His neck should be snipped just like he did to the babies. The three he was convicted on are just the tip of the iceburg.
