It (appears) to be a snapping turtle. It was encountered in the early morning hours on Grouse Avenue south of Clear Lake. The turtle was shooed off the road so it wouldn’t be hit.

Turtles are much like chickens. They too, must cross the road to get to the other side.
Hmm theres only one person that I know that travels grouse everynight that would actually stop and shoooe a turtle off a road, not to mention almost crashing a truck trying to dodge a bird! lol Stay the way you are we love ya!
