A Tuesday afternoon traffic stop of a suspended driver on Main Street by Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Deputy Frank Hodak led to an arrest on multiple drug charges for a 22-year-old Mason City man previously convicted of drug dealing.

According to the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s incident media report Christopher Michael Grover of 112 12 Street NW, Mason City was charged with a possession of a marijuana with intent to deliver, possession of ecstasy, possession of mushrooms, possession of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under suspension and no insurance.

Grover was transported to the Cerro Gordo County jail and booked in at 7:10pm. Grover posted bond a couple hours later, and has been given a date for an initial appearance in Cerro Gordo County Court.

Online court records show Grover was convicted in Cerro Gordo County on October 29th, 2007 for a class B felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. Grover was sentenced to ten years in prison in the case in July of 2008 after violating probation.

Heard his girlfriend bailed him out immediately. When oh when will people learn? SMH. Being a parolee, you wouldn’t think he’d have ALL THOSE drugs on him. He’ll snitch on some people & walk free, like he always does. DHS needs to investigate this dude & his girlfriend. They have kids living around all these drugs. Plus, they were the ones who started that house on 12th street NW on fire. WINNERS!!!!!

Execute druggies. It will put a stop to all our costly drug problems and reduce the cost of law enforcement and prison expenses. Besides, filling up prisons with a bunch of worthless pieces of excrement is just plain ineffective at eliminating drugs. Execution will!

Drug wars don’t work. Give it up. It’s a personal choice. Refer them to treatment if they have a problem with drugs. Stop filling up our prisons with drug convictions.
