MASON CITY – Bob Krause, a flower delivery driver for Hy-Vee West, was still working hard getting the gifts to their respected mothers at 4:30 pm Sunday afternoon.
“Mother’s Day is one of the busiest days of the year, along with Valentine’s Day,” said Krause. “I’ve been delivering flowers for ten to eleven hours a day for the past few days.
Krause had stopped at Willowbrook Mall to freshen the flowers and to organize his deliveries.
“I usually fill up the van. I can get around twenty different delivery’s in each load,” Krause informed “I drove over 230 miles yesterday delivering to surrounding towns and areas.”
Krause hopes that all the Moms are happy and pleased with their gifts.
