PLYMOUTH COUNTY, IOWA – A Northern Iowa school bus collided with a Jeep, and the aftermath left several persons hurt, including serious injuries to children.
On November 15, 2025 at approximately 12:53 PM, the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office received multiple 911 calls in reference to a two-vehicle accident that involved injuries near the intersection of Highway 75 and C-80.
A 2014 StarCraft Prodigy bus and a black 2016 Jeep Compass crashed near the intersection of Hwy 75 and C-80 in Plymouth County leaving the vehicles partially on the roadway. The bus was stopped on C80 and attempted to make a left-hand turn onto Hwy 75 to travel north. The Jeep was southbound on Hwy 75 at which time a crash occurred within the intersection. As a result of the crash, multiple injuries were reported and multiple individuals were transported to the hospital by ambulance and helicopter. Highway 75 traffic was detoured for the crash investigation. The names of the individuals are not being released at this time. This crash is still under investigation by the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office and Iowa State Patrol.

Bluff Police Department, the Woodbury County Sheriff’s Office, WINGS, Iowa DOT, and Stockton Towing.
