MASON CITY – A woman who has seen jail time before after her driving activities is back in jail at this time for illegally driving.

Autumn Lorraine King, age 29, is serving seven days in the Cerro Gordo County Jail for driving while barred, a charge she pled guilty to in May. She was also assessed $522.55 in fines and court fees and ordered to complete 56 hours of community service.

King was found guilty by a jury in 2012 for leaving the scene of an injury accident the previous year. She still owes $13,306.46 in unpaid fines, fees and restitution in that case.

King has a long rap sheet, including multiple charges of disturbing the peace, alcohol violations, multiple theft charges, multiple charges of possession of illegal substances, lying to law enforcement (dismissed), at least one parole violation after a conviction of class D felony forgery for which she served time in prison (still owes the court $1220.69 in that case, from 2005) and a conviction for class D felony intimidation with a dangerous weapon and five counts of unauthorized use of a credit card for which she still owes the court $1,148.20 (found guilty on one count).

Well lets just punish her by giving her another fine and then let her out to keep going until she kills or hurts someone.
