MASON CITY – The North Iowa Events Center needs your help! vStudents in the North Iowa Area are being asked to submit entries for the cover art for the 2013 North Iowa Fair book. Entries must be completed on 8 1/2 by 11 size paper and follow the theme of the 2013 North Iowa Fair: “Celebrate Youth”. Entries are due January 9th and will be judged by the North Iowa Fair Association Board of Directors. Please see rules below:
Rules of Contest:
You must be a resident of Iowa.
At least pre-school age, but not older than 18.
Entries must be received by the fair office by January 9th, 2013 (note: this is not a postmark date, please allow time for delivery)
All art mediums can be used, but the artwork must be 2 dimensional.
The artwork should fit an 8 ½ by 11 sheet of paper.
Name of artist, age and contact information should not be placed on the artwork, but instead written on a note card and paper clipped to the work.
Submitted entries must be the work of the entrant and should not be in violation of copyright laws.
