MASON CITY – KCMR Radio and Main Street Mason City will host “Project Gratitude” Saturday, August 7 beginning at 10 a.m. in Central Park.

“There are so many positive things going on within Mason City and this is a great way to show our appreciation and gratitude as a community,” according to an organizer of the event.

Central Park, in downtown Mason City, will be filled with hundreds of yard signs that express a word reflecting our community’s gratitude and positivity.

These signs will be given away at the conclusion of the walk thru to those who wish to take a sign home for their yard, or for a family member, relative, friend, neighbor or co-worker.

A limited number of Project Gratitude window signs will also be given away at the Project Gratitude event on Saturday, August 7th in Central Park.

KCMR has its listeners, but like an AM station not many.

Move to a bigger city then where they have plenty of radio stations.

Big deal! They are congratulating themselves for nothing.

Move to a city that is doing ‘something’.

Am I missing something, other then declining population.

Move to a city with expanding population – Des Moines would be one.
