Pamella Kay Clough, of Marble Rock, Iowa, passed away after a hard fought battle with cancer September 27, 2025 with her loving husband Marc at her side.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday October 25, 2025 at the Walter F. Bohl Community Center, 520 College St, Marble Rock, IA 50653. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm to 4:00pm and hold a toast in Pam’s honor as well as open the floor for those to share their memories at 3:00pm.
Pam was born July 16, 1956 in Charles City, Iowa, daughter of Kenneth “Mike” and Renee (Hencken) Parker. Following graduation from high school, Pam went on to attend Capri’s Beauty College where she earned her certificate. She worked as a beautician for many establishments, most notably Spurgeons Beauty and Salon. For much of her career, she worked for Stadheim Jewelers. Pam was united in marriage to Marc Clough in 1998 at St. James Lutheran Church in Mason City, Iowa. In 2021, they built Pam’s dream home in Marble Rock. It stood as a testament to everything she loved about the community . Upon retiring from Stadheim, Pam took up a part-time job at the Stop n Shop in town where she got to know everyone in town and made many friends.
In her spare time, Pam was especially crafty and spent time upcycling furniture, making yard art and seasonal crafts. She absolutely adored her flower gardens and had the most beautiful yard. She also enjoyed knitting and crochet. She and Marc loved to get outdoors. They cherished their time together kayaking on the Shell Rock River. Pam always looked forward to spending time with her children. She was an expert mushroom hunter and passed that skill and pastime down to her children. Pam adored antiques and collected many odds and ends. She would never turn down an opportunity to go junk-saling. Planning and going on vacations was something she always looked forward to.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Marc; children, Christopher (Nicole), Jordan, and Michaela (Justin); brother, Phillip (Darla), step-children, Lindi and Robert (Bri); many step-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Mike and Renee.
