MASON CITY – According to the NIACC marketing department, former President Bill Clinton will be at North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC) for a public rally Wednesday October 31.
The public is invited to attend the rally, which will be held in the NIACC gym.
Doors will open at 11:45 a.m. Program begins at 12:30.
The event is free and tickets are not needed.
Wonder if the local women will be safe while “Slick Willie” (no pun intended) is in town.

As far as gas prices go, no President has had any control on those. Gas and oil are a traded commodity. You can blame the high prices on commodity traders (mostly rich republicans). Again you are the dumb one…for the last 2 years the only thing republicans wanted to work on was to make sure Pres. Obama didn’t win a second term (again facts). You teabaggers need to check your facts. The dems had control of the house for Pres Obamas first 2 years but did not have a fillibuster proof senate. So maybe you should check your facts. You must consider the fact the Al Franken wasn’t sworn into office until July of 2009 and Aug 2009 Sen Ted Kennedy passed away. NAFTA was passed under George H. W. Bush. It was implemented under Clinton. You can’t blame Clinton for that. I get irritated by his new TV ad saying Obama has done what he did: Lower taxes on the middle class and raising taxes on the rich. NO way. Clinton is lying by saying he raised taxes on the rich. He’s the one who lowered capital gains taxes to stimulate business and create jobs, exactly what Mitt Romney knows has to stay in place. The capital gains rate had been 28% and Clinton dropped that to 20% for the top rates. The lower rates dropped from 15% to 10%. It is now 15%. He did raise wage taxes from 36% to 39.2% for the top 1.2% of wage earners, but most really rich people don’t earn wages and aren’t touched by that rate. Clinton uses fuzzy arithmetic for 1.2% of people that won’t amount to a hill of beans and will hurt a lot of people who own small businesses.
I use to have respect for Bill even didn’t think anything about what he did with Monica but I have lost it when he supports what Obama is doing to our Country. We need to get an American Leader back in the White House Mitt Romney. Besides that Michelle said herself she wants to go back to normal life where she can tell Obama to pickup his shoes .
