Pay the teachers if they work, if they wont or don’t, no pay. That would fix the problem quickly

No, it would not fix the problem. It would increase it. If teachers were fired for wanting to be safe, then that would mean that other teachers would have to take up the slack by adding students to their classes (which would increase the risks) or teaching subjects they were not comfortable teaching. Classes are already over-crowded and teachers are in high demand especially for some subjects. It is sad but true.

What will happen when a Kindergartner refuses to wear their mask? Really, what will happen in any grade when students are non-compliant? What will happen, will they be sent home? Will they be refused an education? Who polices this mandate? Will Teachers? Administrators? Support Staff, Choir Staff? What happens to the children who have gotten accustomed to being home and/or running the streets who will look to be sent home so they will purposefully be non-compliant? What contingency are in place?

The CDC mandates no singing/yelling/screaming. Will the Mason City Community School District School Board follow these mandates? What will the Choir Staff be doing to comply with the CDC guidelines? Will they be policing non-compliant students, subbing for teachers, taking temperatures of students who come through the doors every morning? What? Inquiring minds would like to know.

Or will the Mason City Community School Board overlook this guideline and put our children at risk of mass contamination, all in hopes of shutters our schools again?

Stay tuned tonight for the next meeting of, As the School Board Turns.

What would happen if you just STFU? If dumb asses like yourself would let life go on, none of this would be an issue.
