Adam Wedmore to seek re-election as Cerro Gordo County Auditor in 2020

Adam Wedmore, county auditor
MASON CITY – Adam Wedmore will seek re-election as Cerro Gordo County Auditor in 2020, he announced today.

I’ve had the pleasure to serve as Cerro Gordo County Auditor since I was elected in 2018 and thank my many supporters, Cerro Gordo County staff, local leaders, and the North Iowa community. Your support has allowed me to be successful in the past few months and I ask for your continued support as I formally announce my campaign to seek re-election in 2020. These past several months have solidified my desire to serve as Cerro Gordo County Auditor and I look forward to the opportunity to continue to do so.

As a life-long resident of Rockwell, I have been and always will be a strong advocate for Cerro Gordo County and having served as your Auditor I’ve found a new appreciation for our county, particularly in how I am able to serve the communities and taxpayers that make up our great county. It has been and continues to be my goal to serve our county and strive to exceed expectations.

In my time as Auditor I successfully implemented the new combined City/School Election, enhanced our online offerings, streamlined department operations, increased efficiencies, and been a responsible steward of taxpayer dollars. Under my leadership our office has undergone several changes and continues to improve. With your support I can continue to lead change within our department to allow us to better serve you.

I ask for your support, and your vote, as we enter to the 2020 election season and welcome anyone to contact me with questions.

Thanks,
Adam Wedmore
