Cerro Gordo Auditor Riley Dirksen resigns

Dirksen

MASON CITY – Cerro Gordo Auditor Riley Dirksen submitted a resignation today as he celebrates the launch of his “Graveball” video game.

Dirksen was just elected to the position in April after running unopposed.  NIT is told the special election cost taxpayers upwards of $30,000.  Treasurer Pat Wright will assume his duties; it wasn’t clear when Dirksen’s last day on the job would be.

A courthouse source told that Dirksen “is into his gaming, he loves Graveball.”

Just days ago, Dirksen and other Democrats attended a party at local brewery to celebrate the successful launch of Dirksen’s video game, Graveball.

Sharon Steckman and Amanda Ragans boy. What a flop. Maybe they and Riley should pay back the taxpayers for the next election. Hopefully someone runs who has more than a ten years old mindset.

It was Ken Kline who recruited him, both he and Dirksen have said so.

He just wanted the job long enough to get a home loan for the big new house they just bought. If he couldn’t show a steady paycheck from a real job, they wouldn’t have gotten the loan. Yes, he should reimburse for the special election.

Tag him a snowflake or a Millennial the glaring issue is as MOST of these people that make the news (social media or old fashion media) is that they did NOT have enough guidance to know how to handle everyday LIFE. hmmm, parents giving up to soon? peer pressure so strong kids grow into cult like followers?
MAYBE, liberal media turned them into pussies…..hmmm?
oh well, there is always hope……

Double duty for Pat Wright. Now there’s how to do it old school. Like a doctor that cares for your entire being not one of these specialist charging you up the ying yang. There are to many people in the city government that are doodle bugging the day away on a fat paycheck. You want the job then get your ass busy for one. Number two, I can care less how much money you need. Clerks should be frugal as it best serves the public that way. You want to showboat get another job. Good luck Riley.

probably the best, not for him but for the taxpayers. maybe when he grows up in 60-70 yrs he will try again

Sound like a typical Millennial, what a cry baby this job is too hard nobody is giving me praise for everything I do every second of the day I am going to cry and go play with my toys, millennial make me sick

That’s funny coming from somebody who is probably of the generation that raised millennials. No one to blame but yourself for raising such a “cry baby” generation.

Slam Dunk! Love it.

Unbelievable, what kind of person does this?

A mental 5-year-old, which is what he and his dippy wife are.
