MASON CITY – A Mason City man was jailed after an alleged shoplifting incident Thursday at a discount store.
Mason City police were called to Family Dollar, 1510 North Federal Avenue, on Thursday afternoon, January 11. Officers arrived at about 3:56 PM and after an investigation, 37-year-old Robert Joshua Jones of Mason City was taken to jail on two counts of third-degree theft and one count of possession of a controlled substance.
Jones remains jailed on bond, awaiting court hearings next week.
