CLEAR LAKE – The Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing Clear Lake woman.
On March 17, 2017 at approximately 3:19 AM, deputies were dispatched to 17262 Lark Ave. to take a report of a missing person. It was reported that Janet Dorenkamp, age 62, of Clear Lake, has not been seen or heard from since the early morning of March 13, 2017 around 6:00 AM.
Janet is described as a white female, 5’6″ tall, and approximately 130lbs. She was last seen leaving her residence driving a silver 2014 Toyota Rav 4, IA license plate of 101TAL on March 13, 2017.
If anyone comes into contact with Janet or her vehicle please contact the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Office.

She was found dead in her car which was found in Clear Lake 5 days later as I read into days Sunday paper. I guess her car was not on the important agenda list.
