Rolfe man sent to jail for 10 days for meth possession

WAVERLY – A Northern Iowa man who has been charged with several crimes in recent months county has been sent to jail there for meth possession.

On January 31, 2017, the Bremer County Sheriff’s Office arrested Colby Cletus Sheda, age 41 of Rolfe, Iowa, on an active warrant. The warrant was for a 10 day mittimus in jail for the original charge of possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine.

Sheda was supposed to serve his jail sentence last year but was granted extra time. He must also pay $552.62 in court fees and costs, serve 2 years of probation and surrender his drivers license for 180 days. He was caught drunk driving in Bremer county in 2011 – at least his third conviction for that crime, court records show. He was also guilty of theft in Emmet county in 2016.
