CHARLES CITY – A Greene man was hurt when his motorcycle rear-ended a vehicle driven by a teen.
The accident happened on the afternoon of Sunday, August 28 at about 2:13 PM. Officers with the Charles City police department responded to the intersection of Brantingham and Clark for a report of a two-vehicle accident. A black 2007 Polaris Motorcycle driven by 23-year-old Cole Chambers of Greene rear-ended a green 1998 Chevy Suburban driven by 16-year-old Braden Laue of New Hampton.
As a result of the collision, an ambulance was called to the scene. Chambers was taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries to his left leg.
Police say total property damage is $2,000. No one was cited for the collision.
