MASON CITY – The public is invited to a program to be held this month, enlightening seniors on their rights and other programs available to them.
The event is called a SALT Forum (Seniors and law enforcement together). The program includes law enforcement updates, and speakers covering issues such as elder rights, senior medicare patrol and county emergency management. There will be law enforcement agency booths, prizes, a drug take-back (turn in unused prescription drugs), and a free lunch.
The event will take place at the Mason City Senior Center, 326 4th Street SE on Thursday, April 28, 2016 from 8:45 AM to Noon. Program begins at 10 AM.
