FORT DODGE – The Garner-Hayfield-Ventura boys cross country team won a state championship over the weekend.
Garner-Hayfield-Ventura (GHV) took home first place at the 2015 Iowa High School Cross County Championships in the 2a boys division. The race was held at Lakeside Golf Course in Fort Dodge, Iowa.
GHV scored just 59 points in winning the title; scoring is made by the first 5 finishers out of the 7-man team. Lowest scores win.
