MASON CITY – Police confirmed a robbery today at 938 9th Street SE at 2:09 PM.
Mason City police and investigators were still at the scene later this afternoon.
“I don’t have a lot of confirmed details yet,” said officer Mike MCkelvey. “We are working on a press release now which should be released in next half hour. Robbery reported at 938 9th ST SE at 2:09 PM.”
NIT received reports in the minutes following the incident that a search was underway for two African-American males who may have been involved and that at least one of the subjects may have been armed.
