ALGONA – A Kossuth county man was taken to jail after a domestic incident in a rural North Iowa town.
Kossuth county deputies were called to a Fenton, Iowa residence after a report of domestic altercation. After an investigation, deputies arrested 37-year-old Trevis Lester on charges of felony third or subsequent offense domestic assault, interference with official acts and obstruction of emergency communications.
Lester posted bond and was released from jail the next day. He faces a trial June 5 for the lesser charges, while no trial date has been set yet for the felony domestic assault charge.
