CHARLES CITY – A Charles City man was arrested for felony sexual abuse.
On Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at 3:46 PM, officers with the Charles City police department responded to the 500 block of 17th Avenue for a report of a sexual abuse assault. After an investigation, officers arrested 40-year-old Kevin Fiala (pictured above) of Charles City on a charge of felony C sexual abuse.
Fiala was taken to the Floyd county jail and was conditionally released the next day. A no-contact order was imposed between the parties. Fiala was appointed a public defender and faces a preliminary hearing on the morning of November 27.
