MASON CITY – Police were called to a residential neighborhood to investigate a suspicious male subject, and took a Thornton man to jail.
At just before 1:00 AM on the morning of January 12, 2015, Mason City police were called to the area of the 1100 block of North Kentucky to investigate a suspicious man in the area. Upon arrival, police located 32-year-old Joshua Daniel Egertsen. He was then arrested on a charge of public intoxication and jailed.
Later that same day, Egertsen entered a guilty plea to public intoxication and was ordered to pay $262.50 in fines and court costs.
Egertsen has at least two drunk driving convictions on his record as well as a number of other public intoxication complaints.
