MASON CITY – A citizen asked NorthIowaToday.com to follow up on a rumor that Mayor Eric Bookmeyer and County Supervisor Jay Urdahl are recruiting citizens to run as candidates in the city’s third ward.
NorthIowaToday.com asked both Urdahl and Bookmeyer if this was true.
Niether would respond to our questions. The mayor has not responded to questions from NorthIowaToday.com in weeks.
