Jadda Buckley scores 13 in Cyclones’ exhibition win

AMES, Iowa – It was a total team effort with every member of the Iowa State women’s basketball team putting points on the board as the Cyclones defeated William Penn 99-53 in its exhibition opener.

Everyone was involved for the Cyclones early in the contest, as all 13 Cyclones scored en route to a 42-19 halftime lead. Nicole “Kidd” Blaskowsky and Seanna Johnson led the way with eight first half points, with Johnson leading the way on the glass with five rebounds.

Iowa State also dominated the boards in the contest, notching 58 rebounds. Freshman Bryanna Fernstrom led Iowa State with eight rebounds.

Four Cyclones scored in double figures, as Brynn Williamson (17), Jadda Buckley (13), Blaskowsky (11) and Emily Durr (11) each eclipsed the 10-point mark.
