WINNESHIEK COUNTY – A Northern Iowa motorcyclist struck a Minnesota man in a roadway, and both were killed in the collision.
The Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office reported that a crash occurred on Sunday, June 11, 2023. At about 7:18 PM that evening in the 3200 block of County Road A14 in Cresco, Iowa, 21-year-old Wyatt Rex Tibbals of Cresco was traveling at a high rate of speed on a motorcycle. Pedestrian Finn Lee Ronken, age 22 of Canton, Minnesota, was struck.
As a result, both Tibbals and Ronken were killed.
Police said they were continuing to investigate.
