NEVADA, IOWA – Iowa law enforcement agencies are investigating the death of a 7-month-old baby girl.
On Sunday, June 11, 2023, at approximately 6:06 PM, the Nevada Public Safety Department was made aware of a death involving a 7-month-old child in the City of Nevada.
The child has been identified as Xena Angel Shore, age 7 months. The child’s parents have been identified as Sheyenne Shore and Juan Montalvo, all from Nevada.
The Nevada Public Safety Department is working closely with the Department of Criminal Investigations (DCI) and the State of Iowa Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the events leading to the death.
