DES MOINES – Iowa’s Kim Reynolds gushed today over fellow Republican governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders, giddy with anticipation over the former Trump mouthpiece giving the GOP response to President Biden’s State of the Union speech next week.
Gov. Kim Reynolds released the following statement in response to Gov. Sarah Sanders giving the Official GOP Response to President Biden’s State of the Union Address next week:
“Gov. Sarah Sanders has been a longtime friend and I am so proud of her for being selected to give the Official GOP Response. It’s a tremendous honor, and nobody is better prepared than her.
“Republican Governors are leading the nation and delivering on their promises. Gov. Sanders has hit the ground running in her first month as Governor of Arkansas, and I know this is just the beginning. I can’t wait to watch Tuesday night!”
But Kim wasn’t done heaping praise on Sanders. She tweeted later today, “@SarahHuckabee, I can’t wait for your Official GOP Response to Biden’s SOTU Address. I am so proud to call you a friend and a fellow Governor!
“Republican Governors are delivering on our promises, and you are just getting started!”
Yes, Kim Reynolds used a lot of exclamation points, almost as if she is yelling at folks to help get her point across. Sanders became famous by taking a podium in the Trump White House and being rude to reporters. Her daddy was a famous politician from Arkansas. Now, she’s the head honcho there.
Kim Reynolds isn’t always this nice to other ladies. Just a few days ago, she viciously slapped down teacher union president Randi Weingarten for calling for well-funded public schools on Fox.
Also, drunk driving is dangerous, and folks who do it more than once might have a character flaw.
