CLEAR LAKE – A Clear Lake woman accused of aggravated assault with a weapon will be in court for a hearing Monday.
Clear Lake police arrested Katy Marieann Mitchell, age 36, on August 26 after responding to a disturbance. After an investigation, it was determined that Mitchell was the aggressor in an altercation and had allegedly used or displayed a weapon. She was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with use or display of a weapon, an aggravated misdemeanor.
Mitchell posted $2,000 bond and was released from jail. She will be arraigned Monday morning, October 13, in a Mason City courtroom.
