MASON CITY – U.S. Representative and candidate for U.S. Senate Bruce Braley will visit North Iowa Area Community College in Mason City Thursday to discuss what his campaign calls “the clear choice in the US Senate race on college affordability”.
Braley will be at NIACC On Thursday afternoon at 3:30 PM in the Activities Center, Room 101.
“Braley has reached across the party divide to deliver results and reduce the cost burden of college by expanding Pell Grants, keeping student loan interest rates low, and renewing tax credits that offset tuition and college costs,” his campaign claims. Braley claims to support legislation that allows people to refinance student loans to lower interest rates. In contrast, Joni Ernst would put Pell Grants and federal student loans at risk and increase costs for Iowa college students and graduates.
Braley is running against Joni Ernst. Polls show the race is deadlocked.
Are those booze bottles on the table next to Braley??
@Francis-Absolutely. The rules are only for us taxpayers. People who suck a living off the rest of of us have no rules and no boundry’s. Look at Ragan and you will see how that works.
