WATERLOO – Police released scant detail, but did confirm a man was shot dead outside a downtown Waterloo bar early Saturday.
Police said that at about 12:15 AM, officers of the Waterloo Police Department responded to the El Senor Tequila Night Club, located at 118 E. 11th Street in downtown Waterloo for a report of shots fired and a man shot.
When Officers arrived, a male victim was found deceased outside the bar. Police said that the victim is not being identified at this time pending notifications. Officers were on the scene for some time and an investigation is on-going. At this time no other information is being released.
