NORTH IOWA – The North Iowa Corridor Economic Development Corporation today announced that Shaun Arneson, Corridor Vice President of Existing Business & Project Management, will serve as Interim President of the organization starting April 11.
Arneson will serve as Interim President during the period the Corridor Board of Directors searches for a permanent successor to Corridor President & CEO Brent Willett, whose last day with the organization is April 11. Willett is leaving to head the Capital Corridor initiative in Central Iowa.
“Shaun will do a great job to ensure there is continuity at the Corridor president position during this important time,” said Larry Elwood, Corridor Chairman. “We are grateful he has accepted the role.”
The North Iowa Corridor Economic Development Corporation serves as the economic development organization for the Cities of Mason City and Clear Lake, and Cerro County, Iowa. The Corridor is the primary contact for business retention and expansion in the region and provides location services for businesses looking to locate in the region. Funding is provided for these efforts by the cities and county as well as over 150 local business partners. The Corridor is governed by a nineteen member board of directors.
