PRESTON, IA – An Iowa was killed after he lost control of his vehicle Tuesday morning.
According to a report, at about 9:30 AM, Timothy Michael Vosatka, 46, of Sabula, Iowa, was driving westbound on Highway 64 about 1 meal east of Preston, Iowa when he passed a dump truck on the right hand shoulder when he lost control of his vehicle and crossed both lane of traffic and entered the south ditch, striking a tree stump. The vehicle proceeded to roll several times and came to rest in a creek.
Vosatka was pronounced dead at the scene and the incident remains under investigation.
