FAYETTE, IOWA – Police reported Thursday that an Olwein boy has been arrested this week and charged with felony sexual abuse.
The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office said Thursday afternoon that on March 26, 2014, a deputy from that office arrested Seth James Brehm, age 14, of Oelwein, on the charge of Sexual abuse in the second degree – a class B felony – after completion of an investigation into an alleged sexual assault of a person under the age of 12 years old.
The sexual assault was reported to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office on February 27, 2014. Seth Brehm has been released to the custody of his parents and will be referred to juvenile authorities on the charge.
