MASON CITY – Police are investigating a theft at a Mason City storage business.
Police reported that a number of campers were broken into at Monroe Storage, located at 1627 South Monroe Avenue. The incident was reported Saturday at about 10:40 AM.
Police did not immediately disclose how much was stolen from the campers, and arrests have been made. The investigation is on-going.

You would hope some decent security cameras are installed. If not lesson learned get some.
If this is the storage yard I think it is they have camera’s, security fences, combination locks and everything except guards on patrol. If I had to guess, I would bet they have the doppers on camera and already know who they are.
Happens every year about this time. The dopers figure out there is no watchman on duty and go steal from the working people. If we would just start shooting them on sight it would put a stop to this crap.
