MASON CITY – The Top of Iowa Hot Wheels Club will hold their annual Christmas Show Saturday from 11AM to 2PM at Great Country Motors in Mason City, located at 1881 South Eisenhower Avenue.
Jeff Hansen, of Clear Lake, Co-President of the Top of Iowa Hot Wheels Club, was busy setting up for the show this week. He and others were preparing table and floor space for about 13 vendors that are on their way to Mason City this weekend, some from as far away as Des Moines and the Twin Cities.
“There will be more than just Hot Wheels here,” Jeff said this week. “Smale-scale models, John Deere toys, collectibles and other items of interest. Lots of things for people to see. ”
Prices range from 50 cents to hundreds of dollars for the items, depending on demand for the item and how rare it is.
“We’ll see upwards of 100 people come out to the show,” Jeff said. He said cash is the preferred mode of payment for items. There will be food available and demonstrations of Hot Wheels toy tracks.
