Onalaska Adventure Sweepstakes winners announced

ONALASKA, Wis. – Onalaska Adventure Sweepstakes Winners Announced – The Onalaska Tourism Commission has selected the three grand prize winners in the Onalaska Adventure Sweepstakes, including a woman from North Iowa.

Sergei Dyakin of Lakeville, Minnesota wins the paddling package, which includes a canoe or kayak trip for two from Schafer’s Boats and Bait. Larry Briggs of Rhinelander, Wisconsin takes home the guided fishing excursion package from Coulee Region Adventures and Emily McDermott from Elma, Iowa wins trail passes and bike rentals for two from Blue Heron Bicycle Works. All three winners also receive an overnight stay at the Comfort Inn Onalaska and $100 in spending cash.

Entrants chose which of the three packages they wanted to win and the contest garnered more than a thousand entries from all over the United States.

Year-round, there are plenty of opportunities for adventurers to Discover Onalaska their way. For those who love to fish, the Mississippi River and 7,700-acre Lake Onalaska offer outstanding fishing, stocked full of bass, bluegill, sunfish, catfish, walleye and northern pike.
