DES MOINES – The following offender has escaped from a residential work release facility. The offender was transferred to this facility after being granted a work release by the Iowa Board of Parole. Work Release is a minimum security setting which allows offenders an opportunity to gradually adjust to the transition between prison and the community, or as in the case of the offender below, as a sanction for violating the conditions of parole supervision.

COMMENTS: Frazier was placed on escape status at 6:36 pm after he failed to return to the facility. Frazier was admitted to work release on August 29, 2012 on revocation of his parole supervision. This sentence began on October 8, 2010. Information as to Frazier’s whereabouts should be reported to the Des Moines Police Department or Polk County Sheriff’s Department.
