MASON CITY – Long-time Cerro Gordo County Sheriff Kevin Pals will not seek re-election this November, he announced today.
According to Sheriff Pals:
I have decided to not run for Sheriff and will be retiring at the end of my current term, December 31, 2024. I would like to thank the many dedicated men and women who have served, and who continue to serve, Cerro Gordo County. There are no words that I can say to show the appreciation I have for the support and prayers for the past 23 years It has been an honor and pleasure to serve the citizens of Cerro Gordo County.
