Warrant issued for alleged vandal from Ames

MASON CITY – On Friday, August 31st, Mason City Police officers responded to a fight call at 7th Street SE and South Massachusetts Avenue at 6:14 PM.

All Subjects were gone upon arrival, according to the Mason City Police Department incident report.

There was vandalism done to a vehicle owned by Gary Lee McRoberts; Shane Lester McRoberts was also there.

A warrant was issued for a suspect, Adam Christopher Vanlengen, age 27.

Address given for Vanlengen was 3222 Lincoln Way 10 in Ames, Iowa.
